Impact Solutions is currently developing a low capital cost and low maintenance waste plastic sorting technology. We are excited about the progress we have been making and are hopeful of bringing a real solution to the problems currently faced by those involved.
As part of our development programme, we are now examining the market need. This will enable us to develop and tailor the waste plastic sorting technology to what the market needs, helping further reduce the amount of plastics going into landfills around the UK.
Many waste plastics are not currently sorted and are instead sent to landfill because of the cost and difficulty of separating the different types of plastics into separate streams. A recent report from WRAP identified this as a major problem facing the waste industry, and Impact Solutions is committed to helping alleviate some of the problems faced.
Over the coming months Impact Solutions will be refining our waste plastic sorting technology further and we hope to be in the position to showcase what we have achieved later in 2014.
