Climatic Testing & Accelerated Life Cycle Testing

Climatic testing allows real-world climate conditions to be accurately recreated in the lab. Using our fully automated equipment, we can mimic temperature and humidity conditions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This enables products to be tested in extreme working environments, improving reliability and accelerating development by quickly identifying weak spots. Our equipment allows Impact Solutions to test a variety of conditions, either individually or in combination. Additionally, mechanical testing can be conducted before and after testing to assess a range of factors.

Impact Solutions can undertake climatic testing under the following criteria:

Temperature (High or Low)

• Normal range of -70°C to +150°C, with the capability to reach as low as -200°C (77K) with special setups.
• Constant temperature or temperature cycling available (fully automated).
• Constant condition rooms include:
  • 40°C ± 2°C
  • 23°C, 50% RH
  • 23°C, ambient RH
  • -20°C
  • 17°C ± 2°C
• Chamber sizes vary from very small to container sizes suitable for pallets.

Humidity

• • • Automated humidity (combined with temperature) cycling from 20% RH to 98% RH.
    • Fixed humidity at 23°C, 50% RH
    • Chamber sizes range from very small to very large.
